Asian Style Warm Cauliflower Salad

  • Servings: 2

We all love cauliflower in our household but personally I was a bit bored of eating it either air fried or as a gratin (called cauliflower cheese in UK)!

So this cauliflower salad was concocted, inspired by Asian cuisine! I hope you will like it as much as we did!

The proportions of the ingredients are approximate (more or less to your liking).

  • One small cauliflower washed, cut into florets then air fried or baked with a drizzle of olive oil
  • For the sauce: 2 tbsp of olive oil, 1 medium size onion cut into wings, 2 or more tbsp of sweet Chili sauce, 2 tbsp of soy sauce, juice of 1 lime and handful of crushed peanuts.

Step 1

While the cauliflower is air frying or baking, fry the onions until caramelised then add all the rest of the ingredients, stirring for one minute until it’s piping hot. Keep the sauce warm. When the cauliflower is ready (nicely roasted with speckles of char), drench it with the warm sauce and serve immediately.
