Nutty Flapjack

Flapjack is a British oat bar. It is chewy, crunchy and sweet! My version includes a variety of unsalted nuts and raisins.
It’s delicious but quite rich!🙂
Ingredients
- 150 g of Porridge oats or 250g of oats if not using nuts
- 100g of Mixed nuts and raisins, finely chopped in a food processor
- 125 g of butter plus extra for the baking dish
- 50g of honey + 50g of brown or caster sugar
- 25g of golden syrup
- Pinch of salt
Method
Step 1
Heat the oven to 180C/fan. Mix well all the ingredients with melted butter and leave to rest for few minutes. Butter a baking dish and add the mixture. Press well so the mixture is perfectly flat then score into square pieces. Bake for around 20 minutes or until golden brown.
