Another broccoli recipe, quick and easy to prepare…and delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 whole medium size broccoli, cut into florets
- 3 garlic cloves, thinly chopped
- 2 or 3 tbsp of olive oil
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 tbsp of sweet chili sauce
- A pinch of chili powder
- Salt and pepper
- Sprinkle some pumpkin seeds before serving (optional)
Method
Step 1
After trimming and washing the florets, pat them dry with a kitchen towel. Heat the olive oil in a wok, add the garlic first then the broccoli. After stir frying for 2 -3 minutes add the remaining ingredients (lime juice, sweet chili sauce, chili powder, salt and pepper).
Step 2
Stir fry until the broccoli is cooked to your liking. Best when cooked al dente, with some crunch. Serve warm or at room temperature.
